After 9 weeks apart, outside of the womb, Robs and Harps were reunited tonight to smell and touch each other. They seemed to enjoy it, although Harp pretty much slept though it. Pete and I were amazed how different they looked when they were right next to each other, because they have not been next to each other since pregnancy ultrasounds. Her hair color is dark brown while his is getting blonder and blonder. Her skin tone is dark, his is fair. Also, Harp has a little chin dimple that Rob doesn't have. Today, they both weigh 3 lbs 9 oz.
Some of the Zastrows sent the babies preemie clothes which was perfect timing because the babies are going to be moving into cribs soon and need to learn how to regulate their body temperature on their own, without the help of the incubators. So the nurses are starting to decrease their incubators temps and put the babes in their little clothes. Stay tuned for more cute pictures of babies in their first onesies.....Thanks Jamie!
