We were told the kids would struggle to get to 2 lbs and then soar to 6.
We really felt that truth.

They both pulled out their feeding tubes within hours of each other today.
They are ready to be eating on their own, and they don't want feeding tubes in their noses anymore, but the reality is they are eating on their own about half the time and they love to bottle feed but then are too exhausted to eat on their own for the second half of the day.
They are both weaning down on the oxygen and we are still hoping to get them off completely before coming home. Cribs are being built, car seats are delivered.....we are getting excited now............

Cousin Chris came to town and the babies loved to meet her.
She brought a happy energy to the room.
They both slept through the 3 month birthday party.
Robbie asked, "Hey nurse, where's the cake?"
Reality is setting in...
FANTASTIC! Goose bumps at all that they've been through and hearing about all these amazing triumphs just warms the cockles of my heart.....
