Back to Work

After 14 weeks off, I returned to work Monday and the kids had their first day away from home. I feel really good about being back to work. I'm not a stay at home mom, I love my job and all the stimulation and learning that comes with being a therapist, and really feel I need that in my everyday life (imagine working in a psych ward every day for 10 years and then trying to work in a library...this is how it felt to me). The kids love being with their Nana and Papa and had a great first day at G & K's Daycare.

This is the sign Gary made that I saw when I pulled up to their house.

Robbie goes with the flow. He will go wherever there is food.
He is sucking his thumb and smiling all day.

Mark my words, this is my genius child.
She looks right at the camera and smiles.
She is starting to make the "kkkkkk" sound and laughs
when you imitate her. Of the two, she has the hardest time being away
from mom, she likes to be nursed and have bonding/holding time with her mommy.

Still in pajamas, getting dropped off in Mesa.

The kids were on their swings for hours in their special
grandparent daycare.

Gary got peed on, day 1.
Karla was running into the other room to grab more diapers.

Robbie and Dad were happy when the Giants won the World Series.

The Zastrows came to visit and spend time with the babies!

Haley took a babysitting class and is a baby expert.
She would be my perfect nanny, except she lives in WI.

Robbie spends so much time outside, he needs lots of hats to shield the sun.
