22 days old today

St. Joes Hospital has asked us if they can feature Robbie and Harper in the magazine Raising Arizona Kids that will highlight the care they do with Nicu babies including the Kangaroo Care, special holding techniques, physical therapy and occupational therapy. St. Joes is a Level 3 (the highest) teaching hospital that helps other Nicu's become familiar with these special types of treatment for preemies. Stay tuned for a special photo shoot and write up the kids will be having Tuesday at 10am. How much information can Karla collect for the baby books? Apparently a lot!

Harper is doing great and loves to show off her legs, especially when Robbie is getting attention. From across the pod I can see Harper's legs flying up in the air. Her legs are 4 inches long.

Robbie had brain scan #3 today and we are praying praying praying for good results. This is a picture of the ultrasound tech scanning his head.

5/4/12 1pm: Update on Robbie's brain: Results came back and again the bleed is about the same. Nurse Glenda says this is what we want, no increases in bleed until it is completely resolved, the doctor told us this can take months. I feel like I will never sleep again until it is resolved.
