Little People

I was shocked to learn that Fantasy Football Drafts still exist even after twins.
Somehow Pete manages to fit everything in..... oh except he doesn't sleep.

Robbie does not mind as long as he can be close to dad.

He still likes to be with his alligator, which is now about the size of his arms.
He is 10 lbs 4 oz today.

Sometimes we call her "Little Cakes" because she is just like a little piece of cake you want to eat up.

Grandpa Pete calls her "Harpo" which we thought was super cute.
She is 9 lbs 4 oz today.

The kids loved their new onesies from Kohler Kometers...
I'm obsessed with this designer now... Lisa Boesch...

Left Over Preemie Issues

Reflux:
Both kids have severe reflux which is also an unpopular preemie issue. They have a GI doc who keeps a close eye on them and has them on reflux meds. Due to this, they are on thickened feeds. The most difficult time of the day is 8pm-11pm, when reflux is heightened. Lot's of whining, screaming, arching, stretching out, and crying. It's so awful to watch and know there is nothing we can do except hold them upright and comfort them and let them know it will pass soon. Both kids seem to have little interest in eating at night and due to their difficult time, usually sleep until about 3-4am due to exhaustion from the hours of discomfort. Harps has a cute cry, with a big bottom lip that sticks out, Robbie just yells out to the heavens.

Hemangiomas:
Hemangiomas are small red dots found on babies that are even more common with preemies. Harper has them on her body and had an ultrasound of her liver to make sure they weren't interfering with blood flow to other organs. (If there are several on the body it is suspected they may be on the liver). She had several on her liver and will take medication for about a year to make sure they don't continue to grow.

Hernia:
Robbie has a belly button hernia which is a common baby issue and will resolve itself within about a year. You can see his big belly button sticking out in some of the pictures. Nobody seems to be particularly concerned about this.
